Anantnag, Dec 20: Blaming previous regimes for total neglect of Anantnag and hollow promises of development, noted Socio-Political leader Imran Shah has said that after the step-motherly treatment of NC, people of Anantnag were expecting from PDP leadership to give special attention with holistic development of this most deserving area but this party always indulged in mass corruption and nepotism and at maximum stabbed to aspirations of young lot of JK and Anantnag in particular who overwhelmingly reposed faith on them and elected with huge votes. shah was addressing a workers meet in Ruhoo Monghal area of Anantnag today. Several social and political activists from various parties also extended support on this occasion.

He said that various developmental projects started during 2008-09 are still craving for completion be like widening of Ashajipora – Mirbazar road, Anantnag -Verinag road, Shopping Complex’s, medical college etc.
Imran urged the Leutinent Governor administration to pay special attention towards the genuine concerns of public and take appropriate action to mitigate their sufferings by early completion of these incomplete projects in Anantnag. He urged the administration to take flood protection band from ruhoo village to Banginowgam on Nallah Brengi on priority basis to prevent soil errosion and protect population from any flood situation. Also there is urgent need of new creation of new 250kv Transformer at new Coloney Ruhoo, and construction of link road from main road to adhpath to mitigate the public sufferings at large in this area.
Also he urged to streamline the huge traffic congestion in main town during peak hours to make smooth commutation and inconvenience free public movement.

Imran urged the administration to provide adequate and curtailment free electricity to the public as promised by worthy LG Sinha sb and availability of all essential commodities during winters. He also expressed hope that administration will make all possible efforts to takle snow situation in the district with advance preparations through men and machinary.
Shah was accompanied by youth leader Fayaz Ah Tarry, Sarpanch M Amin, Sarpanch Peer Manzor Ah, M shafi and others.
