Mumbai Nov 6 : The Bombay High Court has imposed a ban on all construction activities for four days preceding Diwali following alarming decline in Mumbai’s air quality.
Amid escalating concerns over the air quality, the court issued a series of crucial directives to address the problem.
The Bombay High Court, imposed the comprehensive ban on the transportation of construction debris to and from construction sites.
In a bid to curtail particulate matter and dust emissions, all construction materials must now be transported in fully covered trucks or mixer plants, ensuring that the transportation process is environmentally responsible. (UNI)
