Srinagar: The core committee members of the National Child Development Council (NCDC) have expressed concern over the war between Israel and Palestine in their core committee meeting.
In a statement, the members said that “NCDC is always against war and promotes peace, so the council wants to see peace in both territories (Israel and Palestine).”
They further said that they “do not want war anywhere in the world, because there is no profit from wars, but only loss.”
Regional Administrative Officer Muhammad Rizwan, who is also a member of the NCDC core committee has said that the Israeli-Palestinian war could have serious consequences for the people, “as because of this war, hundreds of thousands of children have had to flee their country, therefore it must stop now.”
Similarly, Faculties Sheeba PK and Bindu Jacob have said: “Hearing the news about the war between Israel and Palestine is depressing because children and women are the main ones suffering there.”
Meanwhile, NCDC Master Trainer Baba Alexander said that there should be complete peace and happiness and the war should end as soon as possible.
“This is one of the biggest ongoing conflicts where human rights are being violated. Innocent lives are being lost during the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Let us pray for the peace process in the region,”
Evaluators Bindu S and Sudha Menon said.
The members added that people of all countries should stand against these wars and stand against human rights violations because children and women are suffering a lot.
