20Anantnag, December 25: J&K Peoples Movement (JKPM) has demanded a ring road for the whole of Anantnag town for the purpose of decongesting Anantnag town from ever-increasing vehicular traffic.
In a press statement issued here, JKPM Vice President Solicitor Syed Iqbal Tahir said that roads constitute the critical infrastructure and are highly critical for the overall development of the area.
He said people of Anantnag town and nearby areas need to be provided alternate access to heavy vehicular traffic so that the main town areas are eased of congestion.He urged that the government must take up this project on a fast-track basis.
