Asks admin to perk up facilities in Local PHCs, TB centers, SDHs
Srinagar, Jul 12 : The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Member of Parliament from Anantnag (Retd) Justice Hasnain Masoodi on Monday conducted a detailed tour of various health facilities in Srigufwara, Sallar hamlets of South Kashmir’s Anantnag District.
In a statement, issued to the news agency, a spokesperson said that during his hour’s long tour, he made brief stopovers at various Primary health facilities across the district.
It said that he visited various public health centers and other medical facilities in the district, where he carried an on spot assessment of the facilities being made available to the COVID affected.
During his visit to the health facilities, Masoodi, as per the statement, also assessed the pace of vaccination at all the health facilities in the district.
“It was reported to him that ample supply of vaccine is available at all the health facilities in the district and that the concerned health facilities are also prepared to deal with the imminent third wave of the Covid-19 virus.”
Masoodi rued the lack of awareness, health care facilities in rural areas of South Kashmir and asked the incumbent administration to go for mass awareness campaign among rural areas to stem out unawareness.
