3 Kashmir districts, 4 Jammu districts likely to achieve target in next few days
Srinagar, Oct 12: Thirteen districts in Jammu and Kashmir have completed 100 percent first dose vaccination of all above 18 years of age.
As per the data available with the news agency, seven districts in Kashmir and six districts in Jammu have achieved the feat vis-à-vis vaccination.
The Valley districts that have achieved the target include Anantnag, Kulgam, Shopian, Pulwama, Budgam, Ganderbal and Baramulla while as districts in Jammu which have achieved the feat include Jammu, Rajouri, Poonch, Ramban, Doda and Shopian.
“In Kashmir, Srinagar district has the vaccination percentage of 99 percent, Baramulla 98 percent and Kupwara with 90 percent are yet to achieve the full target,” the figures reveal.
In Jammu division, Udhampur with vaccination percentage 93 percent, Kuthua with 98 percent, Kishtwar with 81 percent and Reasi with 97.5 percent are yet to achieve the target, the figures reveal. “In aggregate form around 99 percent of people over 18 years of age have been given first dose of vaccine.”—(KNO)
