Dubbed the largest tulip garden in Asia, the Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden is one of the must-visit places in Srinagar that sits at the foothills of Zabarwan Mountain. A seven-terraced garden is known for its 48 varieties of tulip flowers which not only interest the adult members of the family but the kids too.

The garden also has several types of other flowers like daffodils, hyacinths, roses, narcissus and other ornamental plants. The water channel running through the terraces adds more charm to the place and makes it a perfect place for romantic couples who can get some memorable pictures clicked here.

Sprawling in 30-hectares of land, this major tourist site in Srinagar comes to life during the spring season when the Tulip Festival is held. Opened to the public, this festival is a must-see in Kashmir for all kinds of travellers as it aims at flaunting the natural beauty of the garden, the rich Kashmiri culture, and its handicraft and cuisine.
