Taliban kill 14 Afghan soldiers, 37 under siege

Afghanistan: Total 14 Afghan soldiers died while 37 others are under siege by the Taliban militia during an altercation between the two sides in northern Afghanistan.

As per a report by Tolonews, the Talibs attacked a police station in Qaisar district of the Faryab province on night.

The news agency quoted a source saying that 30 more security troops “were under siege by the Taliban” and would be also taken hostages unless the army deployed reinforcements to the area.

The local authorities have not yet commented on the incident.
